What are the nitches that you have filed/cut into the sides of the spring retainer plates?

You can never have too many toys Greg! You would have to scale the machine up a bit for me though...:D I'm planning on building a mower head for my Volvo but no plans for any grapples just yet.

Had some time to build a slip ring today, not sure how other people build them but this is what I did.

How's the view through those Russian Big Eyes? I have a set of the 10x80 WW2 German Flak binos those were copied from. I've never found a set I could buy here in the USA I could afford. Those come in handy for spotting rifle bullet vapor trails in long range shooting over 500m.

Lookin Good Greg! Seeing your hydraulics all plumbed and ready makes me wish my father inlaw had more time at work to finish mine! I'm really looking forward to the show in July this year, it should be a lot of fun!

Nothing wrong with that slip ring arrangement at all! Well done that man - I might copy that down the line!

Keep up the good work!

No not a lot of room Joe, we had the excavators going at times loading the train. Also Lou put on a very good demo loading logs on his logging truck with the 966 and also his John Deere log loader.

The crane is Robs, he has mentioned about converting it to RC. Time well tell:D

Not sure what make they were but you could see a long distance.

Thanks for all the comments. Moving along at a good pace now, had it running tonight, loaded two logging trucks with logs, working very well and WAY to much fun. Just about time to start the cab and hood.

Greg, Looks to me like its about time to set up a business,"RC Logger Equipment Manufacturing and sales". You got the building down pat and it seems like it dosn't take you long either,(seems like), I do know differant. I got to spend some time at All American Toy company yesterday, they have a old style KW that would make a great RC log truck. I like your show spread, really looks great. Fred

Wow Greg. Moving right along. You sure don't sit still when you are building.

Looking good-is that styrene you are using on the cab?

Re: RCLogger

Greg, Looks like you are nearly ready for a shovel logging side to go with your yarder side, this machine will be a nice addition to your equipment. Its a great builder that sets about building a model using his skills and fabs everything from the ground up, you can include yourself in that group!! Thanks for sharing. Fred

Lookin good Greg! I especially like the choice of clothing the operator is wearing. He must be a fashion forward forestry worker!

All joking aside it looks really good... I may have to try styrene one day!
