Re: dresser TD40B dozer
Thanks , Tom . The pins and bushings are pressed into the rails(links) . Even the master pin is some what I'll be cutting snap ring groves in them . I was going to use the split master link , but I just didn't trust the bolts .
Here's a few more update pics . I have the chains assembled and pads on one side . Track frames almost done . New cab mocked up ( stickin with the B I don't want some komatsuized machine ) http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/z...pstcnjwxow.jpg http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/z...psy4i3jcph.jpg http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/z...psp7p7ffdk.jpg http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/z...psgobqxjxj.jpg http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/z...psgsbigl1o.jpg http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/z...psfveqrsq9.jpg http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/z...psujvvvkgi.jpg http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/z...pszmeupste.jpg http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/z...psy4byv2iz.jpg |

It is coming together very nicely steve.Nice work .Looks chunky too on that workbench ..Looks as though PB is down ..i am getting the same thing as you ..hope they can save everything we already uploaded ..that would be a b****h if that was lost ..with all the bloody ads it is getting to be really painful to load and post pics

Re: dresser TD40B dozer
I think the ads on PB is killing me on this old (new to me ) puter . I can't update safari on it anymore . It's getting close to the 990's weight :eek:I started drawing up the hood and finalizing the cab . I've been playing with the 3D side of cad again  and drew up the interior . I know, me with an interior in a model.

How sweet it is when you have all the right tooling & the knowledge to use it to make whatever you want (I have no idea what I am talking about, I just assume it'd be sweet :D)... looking real good Steve
