Made some progress... Mounted hydraulic pump, valve block, speed control, battery tray, trans shift servo and cooling fan.

I was waiting on a 1/8" nut driver. I need to bolt em' on, as soon as I get back home Sunday night I'll post a picture. Just the mock-up I did looks pretty good.

Well...here's where I am....

I discovered the fan was too big once I put the rest of the goodies inside, so I'll have to find a thinner one to put in it's place. The steering is a bit slow, I guess if I switch to the 2mm hose instead of the 2.5mm hose it should speed it up a bit. Now working on the steps and railings, then on to the blade.

Very cool, Ben. Runs really smooth as well. Those planetary axles are pretty nice! I like the Scale Art 963B also.

Really nice build! Must be a heck of a feeling seeing something you built completely from scratch rolling under it's own power, it's taking me forever to get there with a kit!

Those axles and wheels really make the build!

Thanks guys, it does feel cool to have it moving! Steve did one heck of a job on the wheels, there are hubs that I haven't put on yet that really make them pop! I've been trying to upload a much clearer video for the past day and it wont upload to PB. I'm gonna keep plugging away at it, need to get s'more brass though. The weight is adding up, I'll try to weigh it in the near future.

smashing build! Was the vid of it in low or high ratio? I've just ordered an R2 2 speed off RC4WD for my build,(standard loader) nice economical gearbox and spares available for it too! What ESC are you using if you dont mind me asking?

looking forward to seeing it in some paint -I imagine it will only add to it's awesome scale appearance!

Any photos of how you mounted the hydros and battery, etc.?

The video is high quality and a little over 2-mins. long.
I'm using a Sabertooth ESC, it's controlling the pump and drive motor.

Here are a few more picture since I completed the cat-walk railings and a couple under the hood of some of the mechanics.

Ben - try uploading to youtube. Accepts HD and longer videos way easier... I don't even bother trying to upload videos to PB never works for me.... Just a thought!
