I think I will use the same front bumper as the other trucks. PMD tapered with 5 LEDs. Nothing too big so I can drive off road.
Company logo is going on the doors for this one.

Ya, it's a great little system for under 40 bucks and shipping wasn't bad. Only draw back is no way to power marker lights. Each channel can only handle 4 lights.

funny story........

my aunt and uncle whom I haven't seen in over 5 years are passing through for a visit. The same day they arrived, so did the postal notice I have a parcel for pick up!
After coming up with an excuse to leave them for a bit I went and picked up the hoe. Got home, put the box in the basement and went back to entertaining my relatives:eek::eek::eek:

I love the leds from that site.prewired and ready to go.
I need to get comfy with the hoe and how everything works before a video.
I'm not going to tear it apart like Dabears would ....;):rolleyes::D but I suddenly realized this thing is one serious RC MACHINE:eek::D

I forgot to mention the battery wasn't here yet on Wednesday, it arrived Friday. I didn't want to torture myself looking at this thing and cant run it so figured best to look at a box for a couple days.
A lesson in patience I guess Nathan.:)

To be honest, I waited a couple days to show my wonderful wife that I promise to not be consumed with my new toy! ;):rolleyes::D :lol::lol::lol:

ohh yeah Craig, that pic is from back when it was a half breed mutt of a truck.

this was by far the toughest rebuild ive done.The machine is half CAT and half Kress. A 621G scraper converted into a pot hauler or ladle carrier.

a complete nightmare of hydraulic and electronic cross breeding, square peg in round hole as you can get!

the nightmare is almost over! road testing with operator and ladle tommorow.

It was not a fun rebuild. Probably because it was really out of my comfort zone. Fun at first but real happy it's done. A feather in the cap and time to move on!:D

I did, for a split second , think about Rc but in 1/14th scale, not a chance! No room for all the electronics, hydraulics and battery:eek:
Even if the rear frame could hold the battery.... This is not on my A list for future projects.:):lol:

Another great paint pen to try out is made by prisma color. Being a graphic artist I've tried several and nothing comes close to there hues the application of the paints. And the tips of the markers hold up to abuse very well. Just my two cents.

Due to our new company property and fleet expansion recently.......

S&M Trucking is hiring! :). 2 positions available. I'm busy running the excavator and Susan is on the dump truck so we have two highway trucks with loads to haul and no drivers.:D;)

S&M construction is also hiring! :). 4 positions available.
Wheel Loader operator , dozer operator and 2 loading dock forklift operators.

Is there a position open for head mechanic/parts manager? I always thought it would be fun to spend someone else's money ordering things and get to install the new parts when they arrive...Of course some of your new stock will grow legs and walk out the back door and onto my equipment:rolleyes:.
