There was a thread on bigmacktrucks.com about the stars and stripes Mack's. There also was a thread with all the real heavy off road Mack's think I had saved the pic after seeing it. |

Looking good. I have seen these macks painted in many different colors, dark yellow, red, white...it's not like the traditional cats where 99% are all yellow.

Do you use electrical cleaner to clean the grime away? I used a can of that to clean off the oily grime from my 850 after the cyl leaky mess all over the bottom of the stick & coupler... it was like it was steamed off. ;) |
Re: Mack M75SX
Ether old trick I used when prepping oil pans for reinstall . Never had a leaky oil pan or timing cover yet :D I just can't get the same stuff I used years ago , seams to leave a bit of oily residue that I have to blow off . electrical cleaner is real good too , I just never have it when need it :( ether is always on hand this time a year. yes I may try the Vaseline in the Mack logo on the hubs , I want that to stand out a bit .

Re: Mack M75SX
almost back together :) leaving the rims raw aluminum to have a break in color  going back to the rc4wd tires just glue the back beads so they don't walk out under a load when turning  For the fronts , I have some flexible foam from 3M to try , Just waiting on the applicator .
http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/z...psbb168af0.jpg after thought , its funny to see paint on it  |

Re: Mack M75SX
Steve, Looks great with some colour on it! Now all you need is some cherries on top and a siren to put out Magnesium fires with lots and lots of sand!!!

Looks good Steve, I'm a big fan of Red! Also like the rims bare with the painted hubs.
