Amazing work, looking at your pump drive is it belt driven? if so what ratio and motor are you running?

Wow! Simply awesome. Everything is so clean, so well designed, and so scale, it's just unbelievable! I've truly gotten my scale model fix for today! It should last me the rest of the week.

I got all the hydraulics and batteries (two 3S 8000 mAh lipos) stuffed inside the 374 and made a little demo video:)
Next I might go and dig a few holes in the garden ;)

Beautiful! It runs as nice as it looks! Looking forward to seeing it digging in some dirt.

Re: CAT 374D L

Thanks guys for your nice words:o:)

I made another video with some load in the bucket (as Joe hoped), and move all the cylinders at the same time to show the speed of the hydraulics.
It is not too fast, but I can live with that:(

Hi Ari! You have created an incredible model so far and I believe to share the same thoughts as everybody also in the forum. You are going to finish it at its best just the way you do every time. You are very talented men and always adding extra star to the forum. The speed is just perfect, it’s a big machine and as that, it`s suppose to have more power than speed and you already have it. I do have question dough. Do you have plans to make it just for you as a hobby or planning to produce it so we can have that pleasure too? Thanks for sharing your talents and hoping that you have lots of enjoyment with this unique machine of yours.:)

I'm not sure what is the best rpm for the pump, and I haven't been able to measure the rpm mine runs. I have this motor running the pump with about 3:1 reduction
http://www.hobbydirekt.de/Robbe2/Rob...81::78196.html
It starts to produce 10 bars at very low rpm, the max pressure is set to 30 bar now.

Thank you for the compliments Valdosetti:)
This is just a hobby and I don't have any plans to start a mass production of these machines.

Nice work Ari. Do you plan to make any other buckets or a ripper?

I will make some more attachments for the machine. I wish I had a ripper today, the ground I was digging had lot of tree and grass roots:(

Looks good Ari ..That looks as though its pretty packed earth you were digging in ..A good test ...im sure it could well compete with the bigger fumotech models ..And just in time for the warmer weather ..Are you almost ready to tear it down and give it a coat of paint ?

Thanks:)
The ground was quite hard packed. That's my parents yard i'm digging, and my dad told me that that spot has not been touched in 20 years.

There's still work to do with the cab, I'm about to purchase a tig welder to get that done.

So here's the video I promise, as many of you have noticed:)

That's great! Looks like it's time to install a new water line, phone line, or sprinkler system now that the hand shovel is obsolete :D

The bucket is 145mm wide, and it would have been much easier to build if I had that TIG back then:D
