Ian, you like to see what "we" create with your products? I'm working on a self contained gooseneck trailer with use of your actuators. Hydraulics would have been too much and no room to house motor/pump so the actuators were a perfect fit. I should have it done in a couple weeks. Thanks for taking the time to share your time with us :)

Hi Cooper,
Wow! Yes I love to see everyone's creations! I wish I was skilled enough to build something myself, but I'm not. At least not a ground vehicle.
However the 8 year old inside loves to see what the other's boys toys look like.

I have used these in my one build and am very happy, now i'm working on my dump trailer build and thinking about putting an L16 on it? should that work aright?

Re: Introduction

Sure the L16-R should work for you depending on your expected load. Max lift on an L16-R@150:1 gearing is about 40lbs.

New Company Name

1 Attachment(s)
Okay so we changed our name and are now Actuonix Motion Devices.
The reason we changed our name is because Firgelli Technologies and Firgelli Automations were two sister companies that both produced actuators.
Firgelli Technologies specialized in micro actuators while Firgelli Automations made the larger units. Having 2 companies with the Firgelli name was very confusing to the customers of both companies. Hence we decided a name change was in order. Same people and owners, just a new name.

That's the final product of the goose neck trailer. I had to use 4 of your actuators in order to lift the dozer. It weighs around 80# and the geometry of the pivot points really don't help in lessening the forces. For a normal truck trailer two would have been more than enough. Your products are great and thanks for sharing your new info on your company. Reminds me of a future project that I will be sending you an order!!

Cheers for that info as I was wondering about it the other while looking at your site,
Living in Australia would they be able to order the rc actuators in or would I have to get then thought you overseas ?

Cheers Tracy

Re: Introduction

Unfortunately despite my best efforts I have so far been unable to secure a distributor in Australia. I think part of the problem is shipping is expensive from here and we have 146 models of linear actuators, too many for anyone to carry much stock of.
I would like to find someone to carry our 21 models of RC units though, any suggestions?

Re: Introduction

Nothing would make me happier, I have brought this up at meetings.
I did put some 30mm L16-S units up today though, and we have never had 30mm L16's before. We thought we'd give them a shot and see if they are popular.
I know, they should have been round right?

Still working on an Aussie distributor. You can order from the site, shipping would be pricey though.
