Hmm, what does that mean, you are going over to Germany to see some, or better still ordering one? If its the later you will be amazed at the build quality.. I certainly am...

Somebody I know in the states has one and recently moved to Utah for employment. He told me he may come for a visit this summer... maybe I'll talk him out his 963, as he's more of a builder than a player of rc. ;)

Thart thing is sweet!! I'll have to buy one of these sometime. Maybe in a few years. You could buy a used car over here for 13,000 euros!!!:D

I think Joe summed it up, when they sold in 2005 we were in a booming economy hence the price it sold for new, also remember the new price was for a completely built up model, which if I'm correct still commands a huge premium from Scaleart, I guess the man hours to build one are a lot? however 5 years later its dropped 75% of its price, so I don't think it will ever be a collectors item, well certainly not in the next few years! There's another on ebay at the moment...

And to answer your question, If I sold it for what I paid, I wouldn't even have 50% towards a regular one :(

That sheds a new light on it... I'd say you're right to run it in gold until it needs repainting in Cat yellow. But when you repaint, keep the 75 year sticker on her.

My 1st thoughts were to keep it on the shelf until this last pic. It looks much better in the dirt!! Use it, enjoy it, and then repaint it the way you want!

when you do repaint, may i suggest you leave some of it gold just to let people know that it is the special addition version even if it is just small details??.

but **** it does look good in the dirt!!

Cheers all for the comments, I now have a sticker set for it, so that will change the look a little, plus I intend to paint the exhaust and air cleaner black and pretty much leave it like that...

the bling machine would look better with the air cleaner and exhaust stack painted black

Elliot what make and model radio gear are you using for your tracked loading shovel and have you mixed the pump in to set it to run as soon as the sticks are moved
