Izzy the truck appears to run good. Now we just need to see it with a bed on it.

Which do you guys like better?

The Euro style hangs out a bit farther as well -the front was already wider than the rear

Thoughts??

Re: Dump truck

Steve - your right awful tight fit ..... I prefer the track width of the made up rims but I like how the hub nuts fit in the euro wheels..... and yes I am anxious for my X-mas present....

I worked on adding the splash gurads for behind the wheels - I'm real happy with how they turned out ...

Re: Izzy's Dump truck

Really coming along nicely Chris! Between you and Travis I've seen you guys do a lot of neat things with a Granite that are new to me and original because of that.

Love the stance of the truck and the way it still retains the Mack look and not just a Granite body on a King Hauler chassis (not to knock anyone who's done this in the past, your conversion is still respected nonetheless).

Keep up the great work!

Re: Izzy's Dump truck

looking good Chris. The tanks are a nice touch.

Izzy 03-02-2011 07:12 PM

Re: Izzy's Dump truck

I-m impressed with the tanks too

Kinda hard to see -but I used the little plates that come with the flatbed kit that tie the chains down- threaded those and mounted to the king steps -then drilled holes for them to stick through and bent them over on the inside

Hopefully these pics make some sense
