Re: NEW BUILD,MY DAY CAB
Eeeewwww - I liked that paint job....... ya coulda started a different truck! But these fenders are lookin better .......
|
Re: NEW BUILD,MY DAY CAB
I know that's why I was not
going to do it, but it will have the same paint job |
Re: NEW BUILD,MY DAY CAB
Hats off to you man, I would never have had the heart to sand off that paint job and redo it - FOR ANYTHING. Credit to ya for just doing it, and for better too. Great looking truck to start out and will look even better when finished.
|
Re: NEW BUILD,MY DAY CAB
Ahh, a lot of work lost, but it will be better then ever, once again. It's already looking better! One thing that I didn't quite like was the gap at the bottom of the grille, and top of the bumper. Looks like you'll be taking care of that with the latest updates, so that's a nice improvement too!
|
Re: NEW BUILD,MY DAY CAB
Thanks guys, Nathan that gap drove me nuts! One major problem was all the stuff I have in there! Mfu, speaker, a battle switch all the wires stock motor and trans and a 7.2 battery just for the lights! All in a day cab! The main battery is under the deck plate in the frame rails! If I get a chance tonight going to start painting the rest of the cab!
|
Re: NEW BUILD,MY DAY CAB
Donny its a tough job to fit everything in a day cab and make the cab fit properly.I replaced the stock mfu speaker with a smaller tweeter style speaker from a local stereo shop.It helps. The truck looked awesome before.I know its gonna look even better with the updates.
