Re: Prayers for my Wife

Thank you everyone, Very much. With Cindy being 33 years old, the doctor is going to do everything in his power to save her leg. I'm thinking it's about 70% in her favor. The Dr. says there is a possibility that in the end it may come to a different ending. But so far everything is going good. Thank you very much again, I do appreciate all the support. It means alot to me. And to our kids. Thank Goodness our kids were not with us at the time of the accident. Today is the first good day in a few days. God Bless all of you. I will keep updating the best I can. Again, Thank You.

I'm taking the kids and we are going to Erie, PA for the weekend. So I won't have any news til Sunday Night. Unfortunately it was our only vehicle. But I'm looking for another Suburban. Just gotta find the right one. Thank you again. I do appreciate it. And I know Cindy does too. God Bless you all.

Thank you again. Cindy is in a lot of pain but she is doing very well. Hopefully only another week in Hamot and we can have her moved.
I've been updating on Facebook and we have alot of people praying for us. And I think God has heard all your prayers. Things are looking really good. She's got a long ways to go but things are progressing nicely.

Re: Prayers for my Wife

For those that are following my thread, My wife was able to come home Friday. The doctor hasn't been able to Work on her heal or her knee yet. But she's doing pretty good now.
As soon as the incision can be closed up the Dr. will put a rod in her foot and a plate to help keep it sturdy and to keep it from flopping. Then after that they will work on her knee.
Thank you to all of you who have kept us in your thoughts and Prayers. We really appreciate it. And the better news is we allready found another Suburban.
Take care everyone and I pray we all stay warm and healthy in the next few weeks as we battle the frigid temperatures.

So glad to hear your wife is recovering and coming home. I'm sure therapy will be tough but just take it one day at a time and I'm sure you two will prevail.

Man that is horrible. I'm glad it wasn't worse I could only imagine the outcome if it wasn't a suburban you were driving yikes. I'd be buying another one too! I'm glad she is home and with her leg. wishing you and your family the best in this difficult time.

Re: Prayers for my Wife

Just a quick update. Cindy had a check-up in Erie today and the Dr. said everything is looking really good. We still have to wait for the incision to close a little more. She has another appointment in 3 weeks. Then they will decide when to put in the Rod and plate in her foot. Fixing her knee will be the last step. If I remember correctly it's a torn ACL. But we are still very grateful to be alive. Thank you everyone for all the thoughts and Prayers. See you in March!

Re: Prayers for my Wife

Had a 3 week check up for Cindy yesturday in Erie, PA. things seem to be moving alone nicely. She will need a lot of physical therapy. Doctor said that next 3 week check up they will take an x-ray of her heel and hopefully she will be able to put weight on it and start using it again. It will be hard and I'm praying she does not get a drop foot. Thanks everyone for the thoughts and Prayers. They do mean alot.
