That thing is a work of art, it looks incredible all polished up. Chicken lights are going to look sick, it will look like there is millions of them with all the reflection. Sweet!

That's Beautiful Izzy!!! I'm gonna need one soon. I'm building a layout in the yard based around having a cow processing plant. The Bull rack will deliver the cows to the cow pen that's connected to the processing plant. I also have a dump truck operation, that's going to be part of the layout. My computers down, and I can't upload any pictures yet. I can't wait to see the Million Lights lit up on this thing!!! Sweet Bull Rack!!!!

Doodlebug, Smiley, there is a Photobucket app on the iTunes store for free. It's great and works well. It allows you to upload pics straight to web pages from the phone and so on. Enjoy!

VERY impressive man. Curious, how are you doing this? Are they 1.5V LED's and are you putting a resister in for every 3 or 5 leds for example? I am trying to figure out the best method.

Thanks :D. I would have to ask Mr. Ric about that. I'm not sure lol. I'm gona run a 12 volt battery for the trailer. So I'm using 5 lights and no resistors :D. Hope this helps

Keith

Re: Custom cattle trailer

He's wirig strings of 5 led's in series and then those sets in parrallel to a 12V battery set-up. Each LED is 3V. You wire 5 because a 12V NiMih pack actually tops off above 14V most times.

SWAGGER 05-03-2012 07:40 PM

Re: Custom cattle trailer

Thanks for that Izzy! Keith also PM'd me with more info.

So by that logic, if I were to run a 7.2V pack and assume that the actual voltage is 8-9V, I could run 3x3V LED sets in series and then parallel each set to the battery?
