What a great build! I'm loving the driver and wheel set up so far. Are you going to attach the hand to the wheel and loosen up the arm joints so it can move freely? :).
Very nice work.

thanks Supermario, I dont know about the arm yet, it's pretty stiff and rigid, so I dont think I'll be able to to get it to move with the steeringwheel..

I'm sure you've seen this video before Rene, my favourite by far. :)

I notice the upper arm is cloth with perhaps nothing but a wire frame underneath? Not sure what the thread from behind is for?

It's been a while since I last got something done on the hay Hauler. Put some hinges on the deck plate, easy access to the battery ;)

Re: Hay Hauler

o the last time we had a meeting at the RC club, I brought the Hay Hauler, it couldn't really drive on the track, front bumper barely cleared the ground, and it got stuck on the side steps, so I decided to raise it up a bit but somehow it ended up on a Grand Hauler frame a few days went by and now it sits on five axles as a day cab, so for the fourth or fifth time I killed of a two axle Hay Hauler project.

Nice work!

I have a question about your Shapeways hood, it looks like it came in one piece, the one I find on their website you have to buy the fenders separately. Am I missing something?

I like the way you are going with this truck, looks like it will be a good one.

Goose changed the hoods. The one piece are older ones, they are now separate hoods and fenders.

Any updates on this truck? One of Reg's dump boxes with all of those axles would be awesome.

Hopefully that will be discouraging enough to make you finish the truck for yourself! You have a good thing going and I hope to see you keep with it.:)

It's been a long time since I did anything in this hobby, and this one still got a long way to go, but I'm trying to get started again, got the hayhauler painted, it's been throug a "few" changes before it ended where it's now, it's been at the paint shop since april 2017, told the painter he could do what ever he wanted, so when i picked it up last saturday, I had no idea of what to expect, it was his first 1:14 paintjob andI think it turned out okay ;) I think i'll call her Carmalita :)
