My experience, & seems to mirror others, is 5 days from the receipt of the tracking number(s), you should have the machine delivered to your door.

Nice! Is yours coming from Hong Kong as well?
Do they supply hydraulic oil or is that separately bought?

bigpipespete 12-12-2017 07:56 PM

Re: RC4WD

Yes mine is coming from Hong Kong and you need to buy the oil and battery separate.

Congratulations on your purchase, your just across the line from us here in the lower mainland so I know what your weather is like this time of year. Do you have somewhere covered you can use that machine or will it be stashed away until spring ?
Mike.

Re: RC4WD

TYVM

The weather here has been unusually cold, & drier than usual. I don't have an indoor play area. Since the weather has been so dry, I took mine out to play on Sunday. I was really impressed with the digging power. I wasn't too impressed with the drive motors. I've ordered from Soyland Industries the upgrade kit for them. I hope the weather will still be dry when the upgrade kit arrives, & I get the hoe running again. For now, it's in pieces, sitting in the garage on a shelf. If the weather DOESN'T cooperate, then the machine will stay stashed away until spring time.

Re: RC4WD

Since our package is coming from Hong Kong, are we as buyers going to be hit up for customs duties and taxes or does rc4wd take the hit?
I guess I should direct this question to previous buyers from rc4wd?

skeeter 12-16-2017 10:22 AM

Re: RC4WD

There are no taxes/import duties......at least for Wa state. IDK about the greedy CA government, they might could slap you for taxes.

Re: RC4WD

It depends what value they put on the invoice. When I ordered directly from Eagle I noticed they were kind enough to indicate a value of 200$ instead of the full value. DHL charged me 50$ for brokerage and custom fees so I was happy in the end, I honestly was expecting worst.

Look on the bright side 1 inch of snow could of led to a slip and fall with the box in his/hers hands. Plus now there's some snow on the ground to plow. Speaking from experience the 870k plows really well. https://youtu.be/X6yrCHfIqAk

Hopefully you don't store your equipment in the basement like I do. Carrying it up and down the stairs is taking its toll on my back.

How many steps is yours? I live on the second floor, 18 long steps, no elevator.

Re: RC4WD

The 870 is half the weight of your PC700 so it wont be an issue for you.

Re: RC4WD

My back would handle it........the knees would be my problem area. Carrying that much additional weight upstairs would be a struggle. trying to carry that much weight DOWNSTAIRS, I believe that I would almost in a cartoon like manner, roll to the bottom of the stair case, due to a knee giving out.

True, maybe I should put my purse down. Hahaha

Re: RC4WD

My dozer was delivered 30 minutes ago , almost threw my back out picking it up. It makes my Premacon machines at 30 lbs seem light featherweights. I will take photos tomorrow in the light and try to figure out how to post them here.

Thanks, I still need to buy a battery and oil and go through the whole thing to make sure all is tight.

Re: RC4WD

Congrats.. looking forward to your pics as I have the dozer in my sights. But your right on about the weight it's shocking at first, but in a good way unless your the lowboy.

Thanks , I want to show the size difference between the dozer and my other machines and my Bruder excavator which at 7 or 8 pounds is now just a joke.

No. You need a Spektrum receiver, either an AR8000 for 8chs or an AR9020 for 9chs

jack van 12-24-2017 11:46 AM

Re: RC4WD

yeh i figured as much i have the 9020 in both trucks and i think i will change over to 9020 plus xplus for all 18 chanels in the future:bounce::rolleyes:
