Not usually a fan of huge sleepers but this looks so bad to the bone I've been converted! Especially with the full fenders. This will be a showstopper when you finish it. What colour scheme are you going to go for?

The truck almostis done for the most part and I still have it
ALTHOUGH I sent the trailer to Rick (AKA Probuilder1964) to build and do the same paint scheme for but apparently he has gone missing.....I have been trying to get the trailer and the parts for the truck I sent to him to get painted back from him since OCT, but cant find him.....He has stopped returning my emails and apparently his phone has been disconnected as well Right now the project is in limbo :mad::mad::mad: Anyone sees or hears from Rick Hopkins (AKA Probuilder1964), let him know I am looking for him Alfy |

Well alfy I'm really sorry to hear that. I do hope you get your stuff back and finish this baby. We need another sick k100 rolling around the board n at meets. Btw can you post or shoot me a pic of you two matching Petes together. I was trying to post the puc of your 362 n 379 together on the instagram page but all your posted pics in the thread are dead. Except the cabover by itself. So I posted it and the page blew up. It's a big hit. I think the pic with both together would get an even better response. Tour 379 was a hit by itself as well.

Ok guys time for an update
Body paint is complete...Project is about 80% done at this point, its just a matter of putting the items on it.....Plenty of goodies still to come I initially sent the fuel tanks to be painted to Rick Hopkins (AKA Probuilder ) But since he has disappeared I can no longer put on the those parts...I had to purchase the parts all over again..I have been waiting for my parts since OCT (trailer, fuel tanks, too much to list) right around the time he has disappeared..so who knows where those parts are now :cop::cop::cop::mad: I am forced to keep the tanks aluminum..Gonna see if I get to work on it this weekend and get it closer to completion http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps5b71da39.jpg http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps4dc8bd93.jpg http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps29dc0886.jpg Thanks for looking will post more soon Alfy |

Looks great Alfy. I'm looking forward to seeing this all buttoned up and finished. The paint looks great. I like the 8 bag suspension too. That's what a Kenworth should have.

Hello your build looks good just writeing regarding Rick Hopkins I had a body built 12 plus moths ago and have heard nothing about 2 weeks ago I emailed again and I think a brother joe Hopkins replyed and has sent the body out last Monday so lets hope so . If I was you I'd try sending an email and get your stuff back!!

After figuring out what trailer to use with the aerodyne and looking over the condition of the paint on it done by Rick, I decided to have the cab re-painted professionally....I spoke with Brian from Exclussive RC and he was more than happy to Re-Do this rig into something I have always wanted, an updated version of the BJ and The Bear truck or the way I would want it to look You can now follow the build on this thread http://www.rctruckandconstruction.co...570#post116570 |
