As always great build!! I was wondering if you can get into a little more detail on you'r lift axle set up? I'm about to start on a lift axle. I'm at a lose on how to go about. I wish someone sold a unit like the lift axle unit for the Wedico trucks.

Thanks Bill. I'll get some pics of the lift axle. These are a real pain to do.

Re: New build. Yes another peterbilt tri-axle dump! small update 4/17/12

Thanks for the comments guys. The lift axle bend is actually made form a piece of 1/2 solid steel rod that i heated and bent. I had turned it down to fir inside one of Ric's aluminum tamiya axles. i had cut about 1 inch off of each end than inserted the steel axle in side it.

Man am I slackin'. I found this in page 2!:o After seeing Johns roll off it got me motivated to work on this some more. I got a few more things done, it should be ready for paint by the end of the weekend. I got my cylinder in from Scale Art, thing is a true piece of work, second to none, pricey, but worth it! thanks for looking and enjoy the pics!

That cylinder looks very sturdy as well as a work of art! Chassis is looking really good, what paint scheme are you going to make it? i like that orange with silver flame scheme in one of the pics you posted that would stand out real good!
