Thanks I got the front wheels mounted on the roll back chassis today but I didn't get a pic of it yet. Hopefully I will have it drivable by next weekend.

Any progress on that KW?

Re: I can't believe this is what I have to start with!!!

Not a lot to show yet, but I am working on a new cab for the truck. The cab will still be a KW just not like most have seen. If all goes well I should have some pics later today.

What's that rear suspension Travis? It doesn't look Tamiya in those photos.

Re: I can't believe this is what I have to start with!!!

I don't know the name of who made it right off hand but it was the one raiders was selling on the B/S/T a while back and I think tc1cat bought one as well so I will ask him who made it. It is a really nice set up with a lot of articulation but it was a pain to get it all set up on the truck. I really enjoy this hobby and it does relax me but that suspension had me cussing before I was done.

Travis,
Love that wheel base on the tractor but then again I love me a long tractor. I like it without a bunk on it then again you can do like a few of the other trucks out there and make the bunk removable.

Travis, regardless of confusions and strange requests from your "employer", I see two killer builds coming on! I know you will build some fantastic trucks too good for anyone to complain about! :) The only question is, how many leaf springs will those trucks have? lol :D

Thanks for the compliments guys but I have put these two on hold so I can get some other stuff done for the next show.

Re: I can't believe this is what I have to start with!!!

Here are some update pics of the heavy haul. All I have left to do is mount the stacks and head light trims permanently, for the pics they were held on with two sided tape. The owner of the truck will finish it off with same paint.

This truck has some of our vendors parts on it.

Wheels, tanks, and locker box by ihbuilder.
Stacks by Stylin n profilin.
Visor by Stepside.
Custom bumper by me.:D

Travis that body work is killer. I agree with Paul I love that curved hood and the front bumper is a great piece. The stretch with the third axle really sets this truck off nicely. Keep it up.

Thanks Tim but this cab is actually just something I made up. I kinda mixed the look of a T800 and a W9L with a Jones hood to come up with what I think would be a neet heavy haul KW.

Yes they are and to me they look better than the Fulda's there is just something about them that is not right.

Well here is an update for you girls. A couple pics and a long boring video. I am definitely going to have to get some faster beetle motors but these are the one I had to use for now. The truck sitting on the bed is a stock length King Hauler chassis.
