Ok well I got the cabs back from my buddy and as always he nailed it for me another killer job.. So I got them back to the shop and wet sanded and buffed them out and mounted all the shiny stuff and this is what I got...

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...095945_617.jpg

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...100049_981.jpg

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...100049_981.jpg

So Friday I went to the decal shop that did the decals on the real truck and Travis took some measurements off the Rc Truck and scaled the full sized ones down to 1/14 so they are perfect 1/14 scale decals of the full size ones..

These turned out great Paul, very nice. It's so much more impressive to see a "scale" model of an actual 1:1. It's to bad they have to be disassembled to paint the chassis.

Those are 2 outstanding trucks :bounce::bounce: I don't think anyone would turn down a chance to own either 1 of them. Another GREAT build :eek:

Nice work Paul. With the two of them side by side, and the camera being a bit further back, my first thought was they looked exactly like two DCP models lined up. The proper scale look is there, and the proportions are great.

Thank you very much Nate I do my best to mix scale numbers with the proper look to make trucks look as close to a mini scale big rig..

Re: Bull It Angus 379 Build "HOT IRON"

Well got a bunch more done on Hot Iron #1 today pretty much all done but the headlights, Light bars, Mud flaps, and fender rock guards and MFU..

So here we go got the Cattle Guard all together and mounted the Russ "True Scale Rc" made for the 2 trucks it will be lighted..

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...boy012/001.jpg

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...boy012/002.jpg

Also got the mirrors mounted and the SS fill ins made and mounted.. I will be making correct mirror brackets out of bass a little later of both trucks..
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...boy012/003.jpg

Random picks here you can see the Pete oval insert for the grill shell..
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...boy012/014.jpg

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...boy012/009.jpg

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...boy012/008.jpg

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...boy012/010.jpg

Then here is a few picks of a new part Russ "True Scale RC" made up for me is the shock box cover and a remote air line box both parts are separate from each other and hollow so you can mount lights in them or your wires.

Thank you Neil.. The wood grain is just a scaled down version of the decals on the real truck by the decal shop..

Dave... Russ milled some for me to fit the bumper when he made it that just inserts from the back and will be lit with a 7" LED strip.

Hey Thanks very much Cory.. This is not mine this one is Wesley's but mine wont be any different...

Ok so been working on the Hot Iron truck doing wiring for all the lights and there are a lot.. Here is what I have worth taking a picture of..I made the under cab light panels and used led bezels from True Scale RC and the rest I had from Lynn to fill them and did the chrome panel behind the fender too all parts are made out of alum and polished out..

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...boy014/005.jpg

Here is a pick of the sleeper panel it hanges on the sleeper floor and I will either use 1.5mm screws to screw it to the floor threw the tab or JB Weld it the cab panel is easy it is flat and is pinched between the body and the bracket the screws go threw to hold the cab on..

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...boy014/010.jpg

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...boy014/012.jpg

More to come once the MFU is close to being done installed and I make the light panels for the Air Cleaners..
