I need to get the rack over the tranny will do do by adding height to the rack as the real one has
its got a pretty thick floor.

Re: 2000 Freightliner COE

To get it to fit over the trans you should build a small box on the base

skl1cent 03-27-2011 05:43 PM

Re: 2000 Freightliner COE

lol bro ur reading my mind or something? LMAOOOO yes thats actually exactly what I was thinking :) hehe I just hope that its gonna be about scale height you know? like, hmm im not exactly sure how tall it would have to be yet LOL not to mention I need to figure a way to mount it LOLL

d.k.v 03-27-2011 06:38 PM

Re: 2000 Freightliner COE

You could put a full width box thats 1:1 about half a foot high or just a small handy man style tool box

x2. I was thinking about the 80t for my King but I'm worried it may be too slow.

skl1cent 04-04-2011 04:11 PM

Re: 2000 Freightliner COE

well dont be worried :), it has plenty of speed and power :) thoo I would say if you realllly want to speed a little bit and still have power go with a 55T that'll work nicely for ya bud :)

Very nice!! I only drove one cab over in my life--and I was nervous!! No fenders or hood to go off of. It felt like I was driving a tour bus. I miss BJ and The Bear! My favorite TV show. Great build!

Man, this is one of your best cabs yet. I think you nailed the look perfectly, and I'm curious if this is going to become one of Donnie's (Reeves) trucks? It's going to be a great replica. Nice job.
