Well how about an up date on the little large car and what kinda trailer you going to drag? Some pup hopper bottoms would be cool or belly dumps!!!!!!

Nice job with this one, Paul. I like the paint! The grill is really nice too. Both are key to pulling off the KW look.

Thanks Much Dairyland..

Last night I took some alum tig rod and made a set of day cab grab bar with ladder..

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...0Picks/001.jpg

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...icks/002-2.jpg

And I have had this in my head for a while now I wanted a pup trailer for my grain trailer and I made it so I could also pull it behind the cracker box with a change of tires..

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...icks/010-3.jpg

I built this trailer today in 5hrs start to finish.. main body is made out of 1/4 PVC sheet all glued with 143 Fuser glue then I made all the alum edges and rails and glued them on too very solid trailer all I got left to do is some detail and the dolly..

Thanks For Looking.

Thanks Arron.. I am have been in the Rc hobby since I was 12 and I am 37 now and the last 13 years I have been into semis so some things are easier for me you would be surprised I bet you could build it pretty fast too 95% of the parts were cut on my table saw and miter box..

Re: K100 day Cab Cracker Box

Little Short Video of the KW I have all the detail done now just have to finish up the lights.. I am running a R2 tranny with a 55 turn with 19 tooth little faster than a 55 turn on a 3 speed in first gear.. Also running a 2 cell lipo.

That thing looks awesome Paul. Brings back some memories. Put a coffin sleeper on it and paint it two tone blue and that's the old mans truck that I learned how to drive.

Paul, I would put a couple round lights in the back. I'm not sure about a full light bar?

Thanks much Frank..

Mike that would be a cool looking truck to build.

Brian that is what I'm thinking little stainless plate with 2 lights and a set of white flaps with chrome hangers.

great job on the Cracker Box ! I'm new to the site and am very much a cab over fan! The Globe Liner is gonna be my fist project. I'll be trans forming it also into a K-100. So I'll probably be a pain in you know what for asking dumb questions and measurments and stuff. Keep up the great workmanship!
Rookie.

as always paul you never fail to amaze me.i remember those as a tandem back in the 70's pulling texaco tankers around the city .they were the cracker box or slab cab as i heard them called also...good job,i would be a little claustophobic driving that for fear that if i hit a rock it would trip the truck on its nose:p

Thanks 404.. Should never worry about digging up old threads mine or anyone else its good to bring them back to the top sometimes that is the only way new people will every find them. And new members should never worry about what someone may say if you dig up a old thread there is nothing wrong with doing so.
