So what's on your workbench for this coming winter?

Is there another full time pilot at your job yet to share the schedule so you can enjoy some time off?

Joe ,
I always have something on the work bench, there are times when nothing gets completed though. :D
This is the winter project

I purchased the Turnigy i10 transmitter, I have to say after a quick review the technology of TX is really changing. It is super easy to operate, it has 4 mixes and holds 20 models.. The telemetry ( temp, rpm and volts ) may turn out to be handy. It has many switches and knobs for control functions. I don't promote products until I have used them for many hours, but this product has sparked my interest as I am not much of a techy person and it seems to be simple to operate. Just how I like it...lol :D

Hey Greg......when you get some time to use this radio keep us informed with your likes/dislikes with it , I will need a new radio soon as well and getting an honest review from a member on here would be very helpful!!

Looking forward to seeing that grader take shape....keep posting pics.....

I now have a few hours on the new i10 Transmitter. The only down side that I can come up with is it seems to only mix 4 channels, that may not be enough for some models... Other wise it is simple to program and make changes. The telemetry ( RX battery power, temp, rpm and volt ) are interesting. I do not have use for all of these functions at this time but maybe in the future. I have purchased more RX at $19 bucks each, and have been switching models over to this TX.

I worked on a different system for a dump system on my ADT. There is not a lot of room for a screw drive system unless I build a new box, so I worked on a pulley system today and it seems to work. Far from clean and hidden, but it is simple..

AH That's a trick on that ADT, those are fakies... The box is lifted by the winch motor that you see, there is no hyd on that truck.

Happy NEW Year !
Glad to see the construction scene is going strong, life has been busy for me but I hope I can now get back doing the fun stuff...
The grader project joined together and made one this weekend. ( front end / back end ) Lou has inspired me with his pan project to get back building. His pan is awesome ! !
