WOW Fred. That set up is looking absolutely awsome:cool: I remember the days of seeing that very style of truck hauling a lowboy into our yard with a CAT hoe on the back.
Have fun with the MFU . It is possible , just seen a thread the other day.... Fit above the motor and servos under the hood.

Our trucks have the same colors just reversed. The colors go good together. This truck is my favorite. I want it done, but I want it right.

Thanks Paul!!!! It needed a longer wheelbase for that heavy haul look. Was gonna use it to pull my perimeter trailer. Think I'm gonna use Steve's locker box instead of that headache rack.

Nice job building this one Fred. Somehow it slipped past me and I never saw this project until today. Glad I did see it, and I was going ask you where the suspension bolster came from for the lift axle? I've never seen one like that before. It looks like it's machined aluminum.

Man I must have completely missed this thread....that old freightliner is cool. I like the old school spokes on it....wish trucks of today still had the class that these rigs had....Seams not to long ago we would see these trucks all the time....now you have to keep your eyes out for them
