Re: Just Another Peterbilt
Not a whole lot to report........I sent all of my body parts to Exclusive RC for paint, rivet work and more.
I did get these very nice mud flaps and aluminum 1/4 fenders with matching Peterbilt logos. The mud flaps are from Exclusive RC and the 1/4 fenders from Metal Hobi. Hope to get them mounted this weekend. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps9mkg2lej.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...psjaikrabg.jpg |

Hey Bricknick, you will need to drill new holes but, yeah they work on a Tamiya truck, check out Northern Farmer's truck.

Re: Just Another Peterbilt
Well, I lost all of my photobucket photos. Here is what the truck looked like at that point.

I added a rear bumper from Reg and changed out my rear suspension kit to the one with the plastic leaves and red links. The red links are ugly. I used the steel optional leaves the kit includes, truck has good travel and is nice and stiff in the rear. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4404/3...ff1d15ab_k.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4353/3...b7eef0a3_k.jpg |

Wow over 10 months to do a body that’s pretty ridiculous! Hope he gets it shipped out to you soon. Your Coastway’s trailer is going to look badass love his trailers they are show pieces!

Re: Just Another Peterbilt......Half Breed.
Craig, Truck is looking great, and with that trailer this is going to be a great looking combination, I'm looking forward to seeing the completed setup.
I wondered where you got your front tow pin and rear pintal tow hooks from? Thank you, and again, a great looking truck so far. Jim |

Re: Just Another Peterbilt
Got some photos back from the body guy. Since photobucket bit the dust I don't know how to post photos the right way, sorry. Flickr won't let me post some of my photos a all and I don't know how to rotate these from Tinypic.
Hopefully I will have a running truck someday. http://oi67.tinypic.com/ehc0pf.jpg http://oi64.tinypic.com/2e3q16t.jpg http://oi67.tinypic.com/30kxaf5.jpg |

Darwin uses the LoRider or Lo Pro tires on His drop deck trailers. Been out of stock for quite a while now.
