Steve. You knocked that one, right out of the park, and there must have been quite a pile of chips on the floor. The frame on this truck looks like it will be rock solid and heavy duty. :D

Hmm, Did you forget to take .100'' off from the edgefinder?

Any pictures of your set up on the machine?

yes I remembered that other wise the backside pocketing would be off . It may be that when using the cam I clicked on the circle edge and not center  I'm not sure you can see it in this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLyOWczx1DQ
if not I'll take a pic when I do the other side or a trailer frame I'm going to set up . It's basically a fence that I can bolt the stock to .This trailer frame set might take a few days + igot to get more plate for the othe side :(

For drilling, I draw points to generate the code .

Looking good!! And everyone thinks that running a CNC mill or lathe is just push the go button and everything comes out OK :rolleyes: Slowing down the feedrate is not that bad of a thing to do. Recommended feeds and speeds are not all what they are cracked up to be!!!

http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/z...r/PIC_1361.jpg

now these get chucked up in the lathe to turn the ends where the arch stops . there's a pic of it I just got to figure how to get it on here

thanks for looking :)

Re: Mack M75SX

Hey Steve, are you going to chuck the walking beam's in your 4 jaw chuck? or use a dead center and lathe dog? Center drilling for the tail stock(live center) look's like fun.
Later, Neil#2 aka doodlebug.
