That looks great! Now you gotta make a new bucket so that those screw heads are gone. Can't wait to see it in action. You shouldn't have a traction issue now with all that added weight.

Jason, my jaw hit the floor when I checked the updates to your thread on my phone. How much better the view is on my laptop. All I can say is wow! You've definitely overhauled this WA500, and turned it into a masterpiece. It looks a lot like the Fumotec WA500 now. Very cool.

Re: Wa 500 Rebuild

Thanks fellas, I've still got some work to do, mostly wiring for the lights and going to make a few more detail parts before I can get it dirty. Ill be sure to post some video when its rolling.

Nate, thanks! I hadn't looked at the Fumotec loader in a while.. Ill have to see that and compare now. I was basing my build off a few 1:1 pics of a wa 500-6. I'm sorta at a stand still now due to the s20 burning out. While i was trying to organize the rat nest that is the wiring, the previously poor soldering of the deans battery connector caused a lead to short and then emit the infamous blue smoke from the esc which is never good. Its done...I've had an s20 on order now for maybe 3 months from ric for my w900. hopefully that's coming in soon so I can proceed.

RCP thanks, the weight difference from stock to now is night and day. Didn't get a weight but as it sits now its all of 35 lbs I'm guessing.

Oz, Thank you!

Ed, Thank you, Chop, cut , rebuild...I like that. First time building anything of this detail.

Need to make a correction. I over estimated the weight of the machine. Dry weight is 23 lbs.

Re: Wa 500 Rebuild

Thank you!

I did end up holding on to it as you see and did a bit more finishing work
on it. Glad I did because I needed to post some final shots to end the build thread.

Working out a few bugs now, will be sure to post some video when it's running.

Thank you, Ya know the more details I finish, the cooler it gets, and less chance I'd let it go. ;).
