This little nutt eater has some beefy body guards!! Only problem is that they may not be as loyal and reliable as needed!!! After the cat realized it wasn't a toy he doesn't want much to do with it!! Even had supervised cat rides and the cat just walked away!! But he does hunt, so in reality we will be cautious with him I'm sure if the prey drive kicked in he would definitely try to eat him!!!

Version 1 & 2 of the frame rail hood hinge I've been working on. Version 3 should be a finished product. This is what I love about this rapid prototyping stuff. Plastic is cheep ( vs aluminum) I can alter it in a matter of seconds, reprint. While waiting for the print I'm free to pester the wife, dog , work on something else!!

And the battery tray. Hood flips up, battery is accessible by a simple rubber band across top. From what I'm use to I would have to have several Velcro straps and padding around battery so these trucks are easy!! Not too much off roading that a rubber band wouldn't hold down :)

Thanks!! Yea I'm really just beginning to realize how useful this little shop addition is!! Definitely easier and cleaner than milling all the parts from aluminum , and less weight when needed!!

This is a different one, not as funny but I don't know why others don't work. ??? The big net above must have a hole in it and my videos are now in the outernet instead of internet. !!!

I can see the 2nd. one. How did you get that cat to stay on the trailer? The cat I had would have jumped 3' high as soon as the truck moved.
Can also see the 3rd. one. That's funny.

Lol!! That fat little ba$$tard has no cat like abilities what so ever!! We sometimes refer to him as handycat!! Can't jump, has to jump (fake try) onto the couch when we are watching but is on counters in morning sun!!! Doesn't like other cats but likes dogs, hates catnip but eats fallen dog food! Loves the car and riding on (or in) any of my toys, even taken for hand truck rides!!!

I see em both no problem . Cats are funny critters Mine will not come down in the shop but likes to watch me draw . The dog OTOH , will come down and lay right in the chip piles by the saw . The missus loves that :eek:

Hey the truck has a vibration in the tranny? Common with plastic gears? Just ignore or should I look for bent shaft or messed up gears?

Lol!! Our Maine coon cat will sit on my lap at the mill and lathe if I let him!! And yes I quite often hear a woman's unhappy voice coming from the inner house rattling on about fur-carpet-floor and shiny pieces of aluminum. :)
