See if you get another trailer that low, I'll be able to drive right up. You'll just have to control two trucks at once!! Like that van dam commercial,,, lol!!

Re: bigfords trucks

Now all you need to do is talk to Joe and figure out how to run two trucks at the same time from one radio.:)

The drop deck express is looking real sweet btw.

Ummmm,:rolleyes::eek:...ok :). Can I practice first. :lol:
If we can find a couple trucks that run same speed real well, I'd say 2 guys could run together and haul RW's truck no problem.....in a straight line.

Might be biting off more than what we can chew on this one:rolleyes:

bigford 04-23-2016 06:25 PM

Re: bigfords trucks

two guy no prob!! your talking about one guy with two trucks bound as one.
I think you could do it left stick for truck 1 and right stick for truck 2

Claus 04-23-2016 07:06 PM

Re: bigfords trucks

Remember Freddy's old trick of taping two radios together back to back? He said it was very slick, could operate all four sticks.

Very nice scheme, reminds me of a company over here and I always liked their trucks. But the blue and white Pete is the show stealer ;)

Re: bigfords trucks

Big Ford, where did you find the "west coast" style mirrors, or did you make/modify, them yourself that are on a couple of your trucks? Also, are you power coating the chassis or just painting them?

Thank you,

Jim

bigford 04-25-2016 08:47 PM

Re: bigfords trucks

mirrors are from this guy
http://lkwmodellbauberlin.1a-shops.eu/
rails are going to get painted someday. I like the yellow rail truck the best
but the wife says the yellow don't match the cab and should be black

Re: bigfords trucks

Big Ford, thank you for the information on the Mirrors and other optional equipment components.

Thank you,
Jim

Re: bigfords trucks

Big Ford Great looking trucks. I like the dump trailer too. Who built it, you? Size, etc.

Also, for your sleeper units are you modifying the Tamiya or using the WEDICO units?

Sorry, for so many questions, but you're doing what I hope to do so any advice will be greatly appreciate.

thank you,

Jim

bigford 04-26-2016 10:17 AM

Re: bigfords trucks

trailer was built here on the forum by rcp57.
modeled after my 1:1 from pics emailed
blue/white pete has a large wedico sleeper
red/white pete has a stock sleeper with a 3d top
black/white has a stock sleeper with the roof lowered

Re: bigfords trucks

Big Ford, thank you for the information/answers to my questions. I'll have to start planning for my fleet now. I have several trucks, but no purpose/fleet. Working on the concept and idea now based on what you've provided.

Thank you again for the help,

Regards,

Jim
