Re: My Stretched globeliner
Ok cab is pretty much closed for good now well at least i dont need to access it anymore.. I relocated the battery again to the frame rails and moved the switches for the MFU. My speaker idea didnt pan out as i kept blowing speakers so that is a little dissapointing, so i resoldered the original speaker back in. I also started the light box to hide the rack mount.
used the face for a template on the floor http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...624_154329.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...624_154507.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...624_170741.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...624_170745.jpg I can access all controls of the mfu and its completely hidden. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...624_170753.jpg Heres what i have come up with so far as i was explaining before http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...625_003921.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...625_010056.jpg I still need to try to hinge it and add lights to it but it will deff hide the mount the way i thought it would Thanks for looking!! |
Re: My Stretched globeliner

Re: My Stretched globeliner
Aaron, i like the idea of hiding the control panel. Functional, yet clean looking. And I like the box w/ the led's. Great job.:D:D:D

Re: My Stretched globeliner

http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...709_200947.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...709_201008.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...709_201050.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...709_201108.jpg I love it!!! Now i just gotta light it up. Now im wondering if i could just cut the old fog lights off the leads and series in the 8 2v LEDs i need? i added 2 to the brake lights with no ill effect.. maybe through in a 56ohm resister or 2? My lowboy is 5 sets of 4 led/1 56ohm resistors in a series... Still need to order the new pipes, visor, and wait for one more custom part and it should be pretty much done minus new paint scheme. Anyways thanks for looking THANKS AGAIN RUSS AND LYNN!! |
