That is a tight squeeze on the air cleaner lights. Great job Brian.

Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump update 10-20-11
Love those breather lights and shrouds! Beautiful. I have never seen anyone pull off the Peterbilt look as well as you do, with these Tamiyas. You have become a master modeler.

Beautiful truck Brian, imagine what the price would be on such a one of a kind truck like this one, then imagine the line of people waiting to get their hands on one.

Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump update 10-20-11

Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump update 10-24-11
Got some more done. Been busy stuffing wires in to the cab! I should have enough room for the vibration unit too. the stock speaker isn't gonna fit though, oh well! I got most of the chrome goodies on the cab and most of the chicken lights are done. Here are some pics, thanks for looking!

Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump update 10-24-11
Brian, that's has to have turned out even better than you have hoped! It looks like a Wizard came along and shrunk your truck.

Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump update 10-24-11
Brian I can't say anything about your truck that hasn't been said. It is top shelf and your skill is unmatched on those pete cabs. The bed is one of the best looking custome fab jobs ever. For what its worth I think it is one of my fav. Dump trucks on the board! Good job

|
Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump update 10-24-11
Slicker then snot on a door knob! That looks amazing. :D Nothing says scale realism like a full set of lights.
|
Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump update 10-24-11
Great work Brian, how will you run all those lights? Not directly off the mfu surely?
As always, showing us all how to make a proper peterbilt from the venerable king hauler. |
Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump update 10-24-11
Brian the chicken lights look great on the truck really makes it look agressive. It would be cool if you had them on a switched channel so you could turn them on and off.

Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump New pics! 10-30-11
It looks sweet as a day cab, without the dump box, but I know it's not going to stay that way for long! What a beautiful truck.

Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump New pics! 10-30-11

Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump New pics! 10-30-11
WOW!!! What can I say? Other than looking at the chassis you would never know that truck started life as a King Hauler. Would love to see you build a heavy haul tractor next.

Will we get a video soon? And do you have plans to haul dirt in this or is it more for show?

Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump New pics! 10-30-11
Looks like the premise for a new movie, honey I shrunk the Peterbilt. Either that or someone's parked a Peterbilt on some giant's kitchen counter!
I bet this baby will only be hauling clean dirt when it's finished! |

Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump New pics! 10-30-11
Small update here. I build a tool box for the passenger side. The box was 2 foot square. When I scaled it down it was a perfect place for the MFU vibration unit! I also stared the finishing details on the dump body! YAH! I can see the end in sight. Thanks for looking!
