Is it just your 1st & last axles sticking in the U slots that make it look like the rear section is flexing with the well?

Great control of the dozer, it didn't glitch once climbing on that metal trl. 2.4Ghz radio?

Thanks for the info on your mill, Greg. I enjoyed the loading videos as well. Nice and smooth. Your dozer sure sounds healthy and strong with the reduction it has. Is your A40D Volvo a 6wd model? I was slightly amused when the back tires starting spinning the trailer tires!

Nice looking trailer! Driving that dozer on forward looked a little hairy!

Hey Joe
The trailer pivots in the centre set of wheels which are solid, the front axel and rear axel have springs. So when you start to load a machine the rear axel starts to lower as you walk up on the beaver tail as it is spring loaded. The beaver tail gets lower to the ground, as you walk up onto the back of the trailer the trailer levels...

No it is not a 2.4 just a tracker radio..

cheers
Greg

No problem Nathan. The Cat never powers out with those motors, it will spin until it is stuck before it would ever powerout...
The Volvo is 6 wheel drive so when a set of tires is in the air they will turn before the machine moves... :D

Once it is painted I plan on putting some rubber strips down on the deck so it is not so slippery, the trailer is 8 inchs wide and the D8 tracks are about 9 wide, so not alot of room for mistakes. lol ;)

So what are you building now Greg?

...or do we have to wait a couple months for you to get further along in the build, like the D8 last yr?

Hey Joe
I am building a log loader, new and improved. lol Seems like a slow build compared to some of the people on this site who get things built very fast...

I have been busy with work the last few weeks, it is good to see that there is lot's of action on the thread.. Great builds and good information.. Attached is some photo's of what I have been working on and also I was able to get some photo's of the Christmas cement mixer as it went by my home. I never had a chance to take good picture as I was in the shop building when I heard the horn honking.. The photo's I took don't do it justice...

Man I would hate to get a DOT check on that one. What if a few lights were burned out? What would the inspector write on the ticket 150x$30.00 +court costs.

The cool thing is that they have the mixer turning with the lights some how !!

A slip ring would take care of the transfer to spinning mixer drum.

Looks good Greg. You're gonna have to hire more operators with all that equipment. Hopefully the guys at the Duncan show will give us a big spot to play this summer.

Man you do a great job every time Greg! What cylinders are you using? Really looks good. Don't hold out so long on the updates.

I can help with the paint, my garage is heated, send it this way......not sure it I will send it back though =). lol
