ya it is, the bruder stuff is really detailed.and really nice plastic and quality the one thing their stuff hovers between something like 1/17ish to 1/16 they say their stuff is 1/16 but thats not always true some stuff is smaller or bigger then that

gismow 05-28-2014 07:19 PM

Re: mack granit flat bed

Do you want to keep the colour or will it be changed ?

gismow 05-28-2014 07:22 PM

Re: mack granit flat bed

In my german boards lots of bruder conversions are made and I often read that the scale is "something in the near of 1/16". Bruder is not a real friend of a continously scale.

ya i see that the cat excavator i got is pretty big and looks ok next to my trucks but i, had the leibherr loader and it seemed kind of to small. and this mack is tiny next to my tamiya's

i did so more work to the truck this week end i got the body all mocked up and i'm going to making the bed soon. i still need to order the wheels for the back , but i can;t seen to find the wheel hexes that go in them though

Re: mack granit flat bed

I like your idea for frame rails. LOTS cheaper than mine, a COMPLETE King Hauler frame.

Do you have pics of the finished build?

skeeter 08-11-2017 09:42 AM

Re: mack granit flat bed

I'd love to see pics showing the up close details of how you mounted the cab to the frame rails.
