Very interesting! It is cool to see you guys tear apart a hard body and rebuild it with styrene. Something I have yet to try but plan to at some point. She's looking really good at this point though. I can't wait to see more progress along with pics.

Lookn good bro! Is that aerodyne cap styrene compatable?

skl1cent 08-27-2010 11:03 PM

Re: 1987 Kenworth T600 Aerodyne

it will stick but not perfectly , so i gotta super glue it :)

Roadmasters 08-28-2010 12:15 AM

Re: 1987 Kenworth T600 Aerodyne

Thanks. I'd epoxy it. Epoxy has more tensile strength than super glue so there is a lesser chance of breakage

Re: 1987 Kenworth T600 Aerodyne

hmm recommend me some stuff to buy if you know a good one :) I never bought epoxy b4 heheh lol

Re: 1987 Kenworth T600 Aerodyne

Just a 5 min. Epoxy from the local hardware store. It comes in a syringe and mixes itself when you push the plunger to apply

I often wondered myself how well these sculpted cabs and bodies hold up. I have seen some nice work.

Re: 1987 Kenworth T600 Aerodyne

thanks Terry , and well depending on how its built, it holds up pretty good. Ussually what I do is after I have all the body work complete n everything I take super glue and then just get all the seems inside make sure everytrhing is solid :) thats the best way to do it :)
