Great looking truck.. I have seen the brown one in person. If I remember right it is from OK. It pulls a big top tent and is a mobile arcade for carnivals and midways.

Looks sweet mate Silvio really does good work.

Where did uou get that grill from?

Espeefan 04-25-2011 11:18 AM

Re: KW Aerodyne W/Extended Sleeper..AKA Mobile Home

That is pretty sweet! I like it. The cab looks great, and the grill and lights match the look. I know you're just mocking up, but the front bumper looks like it's upside down. Lights on the top? Looking forward to seeing it done.

Thanks for the words Fellas

This is a slow build for sure

Some progress

Mounted tranny and "transfer case" I guess you can call it

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/IMG_4085.jpg

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/IMG_4087.jpg

Got some air cleaners from russiloud and mounted them underneath the cab

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/IMG_4094.jpg

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/IMG_4095.jpg

Also got some rims in...Not sure which ways to go just yet, so i figure I would get everyones input on what style rims would look good...Gotta thank danial for the last two sets of rims..Amazing craftsmanship

First

RC4WD Aluminum rims Rims with Russilouds Rear Hubs

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/IMG_4088.jpg

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/IMG_4090.jpg

Daniels First set..8 Hole... Won't have any rears till I decide the style I am gonna go with...Not your typical alcoa's...Going for a custom look for the rig

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/IMG_4092.jpg

Daniels Second Set 12 Hole.. I really am liking these

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/IMG_4099.jpg

Also got my Rivets in...Supposedly there are 100 in the bag

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/IMG_4096.jpg

thats where i am right about now fellas..Will post more soon and appreciate the feedback

Hi Alfy ether the RC4WD Aluminum rims Rims with Russilouds Rear Hubs 5th up from the bottom or Daniels Second Set 12 Hole 2nd up from the bottom both look good to me :D

Cheers Tracy

Re: KW Aerodyne W/Extended Sleeper..AKA Mobile Home

Love the build so far, but you lost me with the wheel selections. i think that the stock wheels look better then those particular after market wheels. I feel all those wheels make it loose its scale look and give it a "toy truck" look. Just my opinion, truck looks fantastic so far. Nice work, keep it up.

Espeefan 05-18-2011 12:49 AM

Re: KW Aerodyne W/Extended Sleeper..AKA Mobile Home

Kind of partical to the the 12 hole rims, myself. They look good and are something different from the norm. I say run with them!

The 12 hole r da way 2 go! HOT HOT HOT!

This thing is going to be a beast, it's pretty huge!
Going to look great when done... those wheels look fantastic.

Can I ask what will be powering this beast ?

Re: KW Aerodyne W/Ext living room.AKA Motor home!

Lookin good Alfy. I like the 12 hole rims, but the only problem with them is the 12 lugs.

The only other problem I can see is with the A/C. the K100's had a guard around the front inlet so that the wheels could not fill the A/C with water and crap.

Re: KW Aerodyne W/Ext living room.AKA Motor home!

Hey Guys Thanks For The Kind Words...

Small Update...Been working on some more parts and just wanted to show you guys what I got

First is a set of air cleaners I had Russ Redo for me..From the open air intake to the enclosed containers

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...ircleaners.jpg

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/DSCF7496.jpg

And got a Beauty of a bumper from Ed....Cant thanks ya enough Buddy

Well, Its been awhile but I am back at this thing

Ordered some custom fuel tanks and mounts

Modified the mounts to have them be a bit shorther...still need to clean them up a bit

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/DSCF8610.jpg

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/DSCF8616.jpg

With Sleeper

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/DSCF8617.jpg

Still not sure which way to go with the fenders

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/DSCF8618.jpg

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/DSCF8619.jpg

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/DSCF8622.jpg

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/DSCF8621.jpg

http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/DSCF8620.jpg

Still have a few things I need to figure out still

Running boards or not..Woiuld consist of using Knighthauler running boards..Only issue woith that is that they are not long enough to sit underneath for the tool box

Not sure If I shoul do a scoop for the sleeper

And like I said, not sure about the fenders

Thank for looking

Alfy

Alfy,
That is the sickest, badest if that is a word kenworth out there awsome job so far can't wait to see it finished and painted. I like the full fenders myself. I hope you are able to get the exhaust to look like the original and are able to mount them to the rear of the cab that would look insane. Good luck and again awsome job
