My Vacation Air Force Pete build
Took a few weeks off and went to Cape Cod and built a truck, bought the cab from Probulder and stretched the fram to 28.

Re: My Vacation Air Force Pete build
Put the Daytons on it and one of Rod's visors in brushed finish, let me know what you think of the rims.

Re: My Vacation Air Force Pete build
Truck definitely has a unique flare to it. I wonder if you could have somebody turn you some chrome hub caps to cover up those ugly axle nuts. Big trucks have hub caps too.

Re: My Vacation Air Force Pete build
WOW those daytons look good on there and the fenders with the big meaty tires compliment them even more. nice set up.

Re: My Vacation Air Force Pete build
An easy (and cheap) way I've found to cover the hole in the center of the hub is to use small chrome caps. They have six small pointed 'arms' that stick out from the back, and you can bed these out a little to snugly hold them in place on the rim. It's been awhile since I bought any at the hardware store, but they were around 3/8" size and I'm sure cost less than $1. -Mike
