Re: DIY RC EXCAVATOR
Nice work! I like it very much so far.
I would like to make boom machine to go on my truck next, it is good to see how you have done it. |

nice . excavator and the truck thing

Re: DIY RC EXCAVATOR
Do you have any experience with the morpower hydraulic products. The pump claims 20.6 bar. Can it handle the continuous use in an rc excavator, or is it more like the other aviation based products that can only be used intermittently?
Your work looks fantastic I am very intersted in following this build. |
Re: DIY RC EXCAVATOR
i didn't try it before, if can't handle, may try gardentrucking / wedico

Re: DIY RC EXCAVATOR
I like the build and i share the same problem as you do i do not have a lathe, milling machine etc. But i was lucky to receive a pillar drill as a gift from a relative a few months back.
Just a quick question does anyone know if you can use a milling machine part in a pillar drill and move the base around it? |
Re: DIY RC EXCAVATOR
The problem with using a drill press as a milling machine is, the tapered shank on the drill chuck, won't stay in its tapered socket. Make sense to you?
Cheers, Neil. Quote:
