Nice start!! The King frame is much closer to actual than the Globe frame. Globe frame is much better suited for a day cab King in my opinion. Any color choice yet???

i picked up a roll of chrome tape from an auto supply shop here in town. they use this stuff for accent trims on their custom rides. 13$ for 50 feet.

Never been a huge fan of cab overs but i'm really starting to come around, i love the look from the front with yhat big bumper!

Looking good mate how did you get the chrome on the front bumper? Thinking of building a bullbar for my knight hauler out of brass so I can solder it together but would really like to chrome it after.

540-man: i picked up a roll of chrome tape from an auto supply shop here in town. they use this stuff for accent trims on their custom rides. 13$ for 50 feet. but being you are making out of brass, any local chrome plate shop can chrome it for you, or you can also try electroplating it yourself with the kits they now sell. they are cheap kits too.

Looking real good. I have a globe cab that I started making I to a 352 Pete...I need to move on it...

Question...are those head light indents on the front a little on the small side? I see a lot of guys that build the pete and KW cab overs and the lights they use look a little bigger?

Lmackattack, ya they are a little smaller then usual, using 4 5mm leds for the lights and didn't want to look too out of place. she should look like a 1982 1/2 352 pete.

Coming along nice Hippy!!! That chrome tape is a cool trick, the bumper turned out great. What kind of paint scheme are you going with?
