Exclusive RC's LowBoy

As many of you know this has been in the works for a WHILE, lots of designing went into this, lots of part testing etc. As you all may already know I love Fontaine's Line of trailers and this bad Boy was my inspiration...

http://i1027.photobucket.com/albums/...ps65ef92a8.jpg

My Personal Low Boy will be Tri-Axle with a dropping 4th axle making it a Quad Axle with 24" of free deck space and I will also make the Jeep option with it. Manual Removing goose neck with folding down extension as well. She will be painted to match the Cat im building since he will be hauling her!She will be made of Aluminum, ABS plastic, with LESU aluminum axles, Custom folding outriggers to extend the width on both sides. Not only will she look like a heavy hauler but she will be able to pull all the weight put on her!

here is some mock up pics of some of the components....

Looks like 3D printing make things like this more doable. Hand crafting all those parts would take 4eva!! Very Kool!!

yes sir they will, once this prototype is done I will have a few price options available ranging from axle/jeep/plastic or metal rims/ etc (tandem, tri, and quad)

7.5" wide without the out riggers and 10" with them extended!

For all of those with doubts about 3d printing, if its done and designed correctly it will handle just fine..... ive grabbed a few things i had around me that weighed a little more than 15 pounds and tested it and it handles flawlessly! im going to guess and say this trailer will def handle a min of 100 pounds easy..

Brian that trailer looks great. Are there plans for a kit for the public; and any ideas on pricing yet or is it to early? But I must say man everything you produce is better then your last product.

Hi,

really nice, great work. It shows that 3D printing is a very practical method for modelling. Let's see if it will pass in real transport situaltion with heavy cargo.

Congratulations for your work so far.

Thank you sir, already tested her with to pounds and she handles the weight with no problems at all... I will test with more weight when she's complete with all bells and whistles:)

Do you know yet if you will supply this trailer as a kit of all the printed parts or complete and ready to roll? I'd be interested in it, in the kit form.
