359 NOW 379EX Peterbilt Update 1-3-13

Well some of you older members might remember when I got this truck and rebuilt it the first time. I went ahead and started my rebuild of my first truck. I still have to do the back light plate and deck plate and punisher shafts before I can paint the frame. Then I am going to install the MFU and put the body back on it while I modd another new body for it. I am not sure if I am going to change the tanks and steps I kind of like that old school look on this one..

Paul I don't know if you can answer this but how do the rc4wd tyres compare tread wise to the Carson cross force ones

They dont have the heavy tread the Carson ones do but the compound is much better but the scale look of the carson is better by far.

I the rims and bumper, Paul. Makes for a sharp looking truck, that's for sure. After seeing all these trucks with stretched frames, the stock frames look so short it's silly!

Re: 359 NOW 379EX Peterbilt Update AGAIN?? AGAIN??

Ok I have said I was going to do this someday and Jon talked me into it so here we go. Jon did all the body and paint work for me and it is flawless just like the wife's truck so if you can do it your self ask Jon..LOL ok got my plug for Jon out of the way..

The 359 is NOW a 379EX with a new color of Green with more gold flake in it.. The color is deeper and pops more in the sun light. Other little bits I had Jon repaint the hole frame work too just tore it down and shipped it to him for paint. Also added a custom bumper Russ made me with Lynn's lights in it and a Set of IH Builders air cleaners and some new mud flaps with weights and it was done. I also pieced a KH decal kit together to work on the new body..
