Oh,oh. Looks like the price of wheels just went up! I've been watching some 5 axis milling videos lately myself...It's like torture though because I'll never have one. The videos that I've been watching are all small machines though. I can't imagine what that one would cost.

Better go talk to the bank Steve, tell them you have to get it!:p

I'd have to sell my house 3 times :eek: I happened on it today watching some end mill vids from different suppliers . Yea, I'll never be able to get 1 being in just the hobby . I'm not about to go out and compete just to get a new toy . We can dream though :D:D

I don't even try . trying to save up to buy another mill with more travel like 50" on the x and maybe an old fixer upper lathe .

Hoss has made 5 axis g0704 if I remember correctly. Who has the skills can make one also.

The Mazak is nice, I'd rather have a Mori NTX on my floor. Of course I'd want one with the built in 3d cam package on the machine controller too.... I'd probably settle for an upgrade to my current turning center with live tooling though lol.

That machine is cool!!! Although i wouldnt even know how to turn it on let alone make anything!!! HAHA i got lost at Russ's just seeing his setup i couldnt figure anything out! Ill stick to having you guys make it for me! LOL

Hey here's a 5 axis machine. It just has a Sherline cnc rotary table between the column and the headstock. Overall it doesn't look to be a sturdy machine but its a little cheaper than a Mazak.
