Aussy Style Mack Superliner

Hey all.. Tristin here this is going to be my first scratch build of a truck but not my first truck I built my first FH12 at 12 years old and stretched it to a twin axle with a dorm bed.

Some of you know who I am my Dad is Tamiya Cowboy and since he took some VK time over the holiday to be with me as I had shoulder surgery last Thursday due to football injury I decided to cut up a body with some help and try to make a Superliner..

So here are some pick of what I am going for and what I have so far. Oh as for other parts I will be robbing Dad's stash:D

That's what i have in the camera right now I have more done but it will have to wait till morning.. Now I know it wont be dead on but I am going for as close as I can as I have never built from scratch on a body..

If anyone knows this truck and have any other picks please share them as I can only find 2 sides shots..

Great job on your custom work so far. This is probably one of my more favorite trucks... ive always wanted to build one that resembles the truck from The Road Worrior.

Superliners have always look pretty sweet. I see you just jumped right in with this project, and that's good. No better way to learn then to get in there and get the hands dirty. Good luck with the shoulder, by the way.
