Hey Reg do you think you can add 3 ladders in total ? Two on the side walls of the trailer (driver side) one in the front and other in the rear. And one larger ladder at the nose of the trailer. Tell me if this makes sense ?

Nothing makes sense to me...lol Yeah, I believe I can make that happen. Do you think the small ladders look ok like that? I think they'll look good but who cares what I think?lol

I got all of the ribs mounted and the front curved piece bent and in place today. It's taking a while now but everything is held in place separately with bolts underneath so it should make disassembling it for polishing easier when you get it.

Smart man thinking ahead! Ya the side ladder looks great, real bummer it didn't make it.

I try but sometimes it hurts...

One sacrificial ladder isn't so bad. If I mess up another one though I quit!lol

Finally getting back on track here! I've spent the last two days working away on this after being out of the shop for a bit. It is starting to come together now and I think I can see a really faint light up ahead although there is still a lot to do.lol

I made up some new side ladders that are slightly taller... and not bent.lol

Re: Vertical Ribbed Dump Trailer

You can get this suspension from rcbrmin as well a little cheaper. It is all metal which I like. Anodized aluminum and pretty. My main complaint with it is that you can not get the same axle spacing as Tamiya uses out of it. The airbags mount a little too far back so you have to spread things out. Not a huge deal but it also causes problems when you are trying to move the rear axle as far back as possible. I would have liked the axles to be a little further toward the rear on this but if I had made the rails to mount them back further then the tail pan of the trailer would hit before the box was up all of the way. I had to compromise there. They are very sturdy though unlike the plastic stuff and are sprung much stiffer than the Tamiya leaves.

It's looking good though hey Brandon? I will button up the front next and then figure out a way to mount the ribs underneath. I normally weld them in but since you are going to polish this everything takes a little more thought. Sometimes my brain hurts from it but it will be all over soon.

Haha, today might be a "honey do" day. We bought some fence panels, posts and concrete mix a few days back. The weather is nice today so I guess we will be working on that for a while. We want to replace a short section of fence before we make use of the cedar planks we cut for our raised veggie garden. I also need to dig a trench and bury a waterline in the lawn but I have to move a small nut tree first. Thankfully I have a mini excavator and don't have to dig all this by hand!lol

A friend of mine has a brand new KTM 250SXF Factory addition that he is itching to ride. We spoke the other day and might make some time this weekend to go for an old guy ride.:D:D:D

Thanks Terry. Is yours up and running?

Thanks Neil.

Here's a quick update on this one. Side boards are on and the ribs are attached underneath. It took nearly 5 hours just to make the little ribs and get them mounted up. It's finally on the right side of the hill though I think.:D
