Duncan BC antique truck show

For any of you island boys there is a antique truck show in Duncan tomorrow. I will be there with my toys playing by myself unless someone else shows up:( HINT,HINT. I don't have a link but you can search the event online.

I'm really not to sure. The show is a saturday-sunday deal so I would imagine it will be going till 4 or 5. I don't plan on going on sunday so you should dig faster or leave early:D. It would be nice to meet you finally!

Yeah it's too bad that none of us island boys knew for sure if we could make it. I ended up deciding to go last night, so I was up just after 3am this morning getting ready. The Port Alberni guys came with their grapple yarder, log loader and trucks. None of them left the trailer because that's they way they are set up but it was really cool and I was happy to finally meet them. A couple of members from here(Rob and Greg) even put down their purses and took a ride to the show in Rob's Vette... Unfortunately when they put down their purses they forgot to pick up their RCs:rolleyes:. Oh well it was really great to see you guys again anyway and I look forward to the show in Port Alberni on Sept long weekend!

I took some video of the show with my gopro but I have to edit it first because there is alot of film with not much action! Too much BSing. I will post it up sometime soon.

Reg, nice video. Nice to be able to see all your builds. The Volvo is a monster and works great!!! Too bad we weren't able to spend more time!

Thanks Rob, it was good to see you too. Hopefully we can all get together soon and have some fun with this stuff.

I had a good laugh at the show because a group of people that were standing there watching started talking about some guy from Saskatchewan whos been digging in his basement for nine years... Your legend lives on Joe!

Looks like you got that hoe tuned up perfectly for speed and power Reg, looking good digging & loading.

...must be alot of avid CBC listeners in BC? no one ever recalls hearing about it in Sask whenever the subject of hobbies are discussed in various circles. Thank you for the acknowledgement, much appreciated.

Thanks Joe,
The group that was talking about you was fairly young too. Maybe it was broadcast somewhere other than CBC? At any rate they thought that it would be a lot of fun with some beer....
