Flysky FS-i6 Hook up

Does anyone know of good instructions or a good video on hooking up the Flysky FS-i6? I tried hooking up the Flysky FS-iA6B receiver but I let out the smoke. I have a new receiver that is supposed to show up Friday.

I like hooking up battery through an esc instead of his battery method, less chance of mistakes plugging it in once and flipping switch rather than stabbing pins.

Thanks, I must of just received a bad first receiver. Originally when I plugged it in it began smoking.

In other news it turns out I had two bad servos, one for the steering and one for the transmission.

Does anyone have photos on how this should be hooked up? This is my best guess.

Forum doesn't do pic attach. You need a 3rd party host

Are you sure the battery connections were right?
