Help with a screw drive

Hi guys been trying to figure out a way to connect my motor to the actual threaded rod but have been unable to come up with anything solid, motor shaft is 4mm and threaded rod is 10mm, anyone have any experience with screw drives or know how to overcome this problem?

A short piece of brass big enough to drill a 10 mm in one side and a 4 mm in the other with set screws.Ed

thanks ed, we tried the brass but didnt have much luck, in the end i superglued some windscreen washer tube to the motor shaft then superglued a thick brake line tube over the top which fitted perfectly then glue it to the threaded rod, the result a strong a flexible drive shaft, we did a quick test and i had a job to hold onto it :D

I am glad you found something I didn't understand that you needed a flexible connection just a connection. Ed
