3:1 Planetary Reduction

I bought one of these off eBay, haven't done any testing with it or anything but seems like a nice reduction if anybody is looking for one. It is a planetary vs the spur design offered by RC4WD. $20.00 plus shipping.

Cool unit, maybe I will try to order few to try. 3:1 is not much, and I dont like the fact it goes directly on the motor, as it puts more torque on gears inside tamiya 3speed.
But i would like to have few sets of this gears to combine and make a bigger reduction or a nice planetary 2 speed gearbox!

Yes, thanks that's the one. All I could think of was your big KW and was at work, didn't have time to search.

The KW would run the same diffs as the HDX in real life. Clark BD91000 or BD121000. Some of the trucks had Rockwell SPR570 axles but they were not common.
