RC 1/50 D11

Re: RC 1/50 D11
That is an awesome build.
I have taken some of these apart, weathered them and sold them. I'm really surprised He could get the tracks to take power. The tracks on the Norscot machines are not held together very well. Also surprised he could get the tracks tight enough not to slip on the sprockets. Would like to see the inside. Very cool! Now it needs some dirt and grime. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...s/HPIM1781.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...s/HPIM1779.jpg |

The weathering looks great. I don't have anywhere near the patience for that kind of work.

Re: RC 1/50 D11
I'm surprised he was able to convert the Norscot Cat to RC also. I wonder how he pulled it off. It looked like it had no trouble putting the power down to the ground, with the ripper. Surprising because from what I can see on my own 1/50th Cat D11R, the tracks really aren't designed to engage the drive sprocket all that well. He must have removed a link or two also. My models tracks are quite loose!
