New guy in the sand box from central PA
 

Hi all,

I am hanging around here for quite some time now and have read a lot of the great topics but have not posted anything since I had no project so far. I have some experience in the field of RC helicopter and airplanes but I also found RC construction machines and trucks always very interesting.
However, I recently bought an RC controlled fire truck for my son on Amazon and the whole thing was just a nightmare in every aspect, granted, it wasn't really expensive but even the stuff for a little bit more money wasn't too convincing. So I decided to something on my own and now I am about to start the conversion of a Bruder truck and hope that I could get some help and advise from this very experienced group.

thanks for the welcome!

My son has already some of them and we wanted to start with the MAN TGS Construction Dump Truck. That seems to be doable and there are plenty of examples out there.

I am located in the Harrisburg area and if you are talking about the York cabin fever expo... I have been there, very impressive and interesting stuff.

Hey Chris check out Magom HRC they sell lots of conversion parts for the Bruder models.

Impressive stuff on their website, while checking all their stuff I feel like a kid in a candy store... very expensive candy though :(
