Old stuff

After looking at the Items in Ironhorse, I thought I would get out some the rail locos and wagons I have had in boxes for the last eleven or so years.
The plan is to make a 3mtrx3mtr layout, put some of it together today to see if it would work.

Cool, I have accumulated great deal of H.O. locomotives and steamers, several DCC controllers, all with sound, all brand new,but somehow, can't find the inspiration to start on the layout.
Keep us posted.

I recommend using Anyrail if you want to design your track plan on a computer beforehand. The free version has a 50 piece limit, and it is pretty easy to learn.

That is an awesome start.. You could fit a lot in a layout of that size..

What is the little truck that you have in the video?

Thanks, not having built a layout before it is a challenge, but have now made a start.
The truck comes from Faller (Car system) The guide wire is in the board and covered with filler then painted in road colour.
