Dozer control question.

OK I'm working on a dozer and keep at the point where I am going to put the electronics in it!
So the thing is how would I mix the servo channels? I want one of the sticks to control the up and down of the blade and the other to control the tilt of the blade. I know it could be mixed on the radio, but how would you go about it. I have the cyclinders on there own valve .
Or should I just use one stick on each cyclinders without mixing? I don't know help!!!!

Thanks
Vic

Re: Dozer control question.

Am I to presume you're wanting to mix valve with pump so any stick movement activates pump?

Scroll menu on radio, should be a title called Mix.

Mix1 valve ch is 1st -> pump is 2nd, and + - 100 which is first will depend how you wired pump the pump to esc, you want pump to turning correct direction.

Mix2 would be done same way, but the next valve ch.

If you're using right stick on radio for valves, sideways on stick us ail & up/down is elev

That I know , I guess I didn't word ito right.
What I want to is when I move lets say the right stick the blade goes up/down , and when I move left stick, it tilts the blade. I have the two cyclinders on its own valve on the valve block. So plus the pump mixing . How would you guys do this.

Does your radio support Elevon mixing?

Elevator up/down for blade up/down. Aileron right/left for blade pivot. With each cyl on its own valve, you should be able to run them both mixed or straight as needed. Probably easier to run them on 1 stick, and the other stick for drive.

ya i think it dose. , i would love to put all the drive on on stick but im using two esc's for the drive instead of a single like a sabertooh (forgot about that until i read last reply)

Re: Dozer control question.

If you dont have more mixes through the radio, maybe add Tank Mixer on the dozer?

Re: Dozer control question.

Cool I will try this tonight, I got to working now this is the part that's fun and frustrating at the same time.
The other problem I'm having is the the Panhard bar I'm using to isolate the pusher arm. It's kind restricting the movemental on one side!
