Chinese Carson Knock Offs?

These seem to be Chinese Carson Knock Offs but I am not sure. They look great and seem to be half price, not sure how the quality is though. Any known anything about them? Too good to be true?

Sold on aliexpress, where the fabricator got their webshop. About 2000 usd incl freight for the excavator. Did import and sold 3 off the 'RTR' 954 over here in Europe last year. Assembled by amatures, hydraulics was crap, except cylinders okay. After a couple of months we ripped out the hydraulics and replaced with Premacon equipment, 1000 usd. Still a relative cheap machine. The frame structure is good, all steel plates, track motors fine. They are sold at RCbrimin as a kit without the valve and pump. That's where I got number 4, which I assembled myself with Premacon hydraulics. Used the 900 ml pump, but will for future builds use the 1200 ml version instead, tune down max speed to get lower rpm/more quiet operation. http://www.rctruckandconstruction.co...ad.php?t=12841
By the way, they are 1/14.

In business with Hercules? They seem to clone the Carson stuff as well?
